Submission Guidelines

Articles

All posts must:

have a simple, relevant and descriptive title
relate clearly to sustainable design (or a subsection such as green design, eco-design, ethical design, inclusive design etc)
be relevant to designers in the UK
be written in clear English and free of spelling mistakes
contain at least one picture
be concise (we recommend keeping posts within 100 words, and have a maximum limit of 500 words)

All posts must NOT:

contain illegal or offensive material of any kind
contain promotional content that is not of direct relevance to the topic and O2UK readers
waffle (posts should be short and snappy. If you have written an essay, please only post a summary on O2UK)
include personal messages to other readers or members (these can be added as comments to posts if necessary)

All posts must be approved by O2UK editor before they will be published and appear on the website for public viewing. Post will normally be reviewed within three working days, but as O2UK is a voluntary organisation we cannot guarantee a specific timescale. It your post is of a time-bound nature and he needed published quickly, we suggest that you contact us to our contact form and request your posts to be prioritised.

O2UK reserves the right to refused publication of any articles that it does not think are appropriate or relevant to its readership.

Events

O2UK members are also able to post events in the O2UK events calendar.

All events must:

relate clearly to sustainable design (or a subsection such as green design, eco-design, ethical design, inclusive design etc)
be relevant to designers in the UK (though do not necessarily have to be in the UK)

O2UK reserves the right to remove any events that it does not think are appropriate or relevant to its readership.

Other privileges:

In some circumstances, we may give full author rights to a member who has a strong track record of publishing high quality, relevant posts. With author status, you are able to publish your posts and have them appear instantly on the O2UK website.

O2UK reserves the right to revoke author and contributor privileges at any time, if for any reason it feels that the above submission guidelines or the site’s terms and conditions have been violated.
