The sustainable product design guide www.espdesign.org is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year with the launch of its completely redesigned website. ESPDesign was launched in 2004 as a result of a research project at Aston University, with the aim of providing practical advice and information on the design of more sustainable products and services. The website contains background information on sustainable design theory and design issues, as well as over 40 sustainable design strategies and information about regulations, green labels and sustainable design tools.

The website has grown to become the leading online resource for students and professionals around the world looking for practical sustainable product design information, and is completely free to use.

The new website has been designed by the sustainable branding specialists Scamper Branding and utilises the open source WordPress platform.
